We have been on safari with our guide Nuru for 9 days. At first we were worried if everything we had booked would work out. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Nuru is a wonderful guide who speaks fluent German and is more than reliable. He is very punctual and was there for us all those days around the clock. He has a great sense of nature and animals. He points you to the smallest animals we couldn't even recognize. But also the nature such as the different nature and trees are explained. There's no bird he doesn't know.Now to the parks. If you land in Arusha, you should visit Arusha National Park. Our favorite is Tarangire National Park. He's little Serengeti and you get to see so many animals. An overnight stay there is incredible. Then there's the No.Gorongoro Crater is a great daily routine.We've seen almost all the animals you dreamed of.This country has captivated us so much that we are still captivated by it. A perfect tour in the South of Tanzania
We had a perfect tour with Nuru in November 24 to the south of Tanzania.Starting at the Indian Ocean south of Daressalam, where we spent two nights (Kipepeo Lodge was great), we went on to Selous National Park. We enjoyed the trip through small villages and then the safaris in Selous (also boat trip and walking safari). Up in the hills we had our next stop at Sable Mountain Lodge and a wonderful drive through the mountains to Morogoro. At a nice farm we had a day off for walking around the farm and the bush belonging to the farm. Great stay! One of my favourites (there were many...) was our next stop: Hondohondo Udzungwa forest camp, in the forest, with a 5 hours walk in Udzungwa Forest. Next two days we went on safari in Mikumi National Park - with lots of elephants and more. The drive in direction of Iringa was very impressive - different landscapes, a lot of villages, and a good night stop at Kisolanza Old Farm. We visited Iringa, an interesting town with good climate. The last days we spent at Ruaha National Park - just great, also the wonderful lodge.It was a very interesting trip, we saw a lot of the country, villages, people and great nature and animals in the National Parks. Unforgetable Safari Southern Tanzania
Last autumn, we went on a 10-day safari through 3 national parks in southern Tanzania. We started for 3 days in Nyrere National Park, then after a day's drive through the beautiful hilly mainland from Tanzania we went to Mikumi National Park. After a visit to Iringa, we spent our remaining days in the beautiful Ruaha National Park. The tour was the perfect mix of everything, full of incredible Wildlife viewing, beautiful lodges, a foot-pirsch, a river cruise and incredibly good food. But what made our tour the best was our incredible tour guide Nuru! Nuru is a Genius in all animals and Birds that surrounded us during our tour and they were a lot! we counted more than 200 different birds und Nuru could explain them all! Of us as Ornithologist that was a real wonderful Gift to have Nuru by our side. But not only his knowledge was incredible, also his personality made our tour so relaxed, funny and almost friendship-likely. We had so good conversations, in english but also in german. Really every second we felt save and in a good Company. Thank you for this unforgettable time in Tanzsnia! It was truly better than we could have imagined! Our guide Nuru was very kind to us and not only drove us to the animals we wanted to see, he also told us a lot about each animal we saw and the life together with them. We learned so much about the animals, about the african life and also took a lot of new perspectives with us. We will come again and do another Safari - it was the best and made us very happy! Thanks for showing us how to life respectful with those animals in the wild and the 5 days full of fun, views, animals and knowledge! And also the nights in the tented camps were amazing!
